Pros & Cons to Network Marketing
Cons to Network Marketing-
Most MLM’S are out of business within the first few years, if they make it past the 8th year, they’ll probably be around a while. Between the 15th to 18th years in business, it starts to become saturated.
The perfect (safe) time to start your business is after the 8th year and before the 15th year. If you happen to be lucky enough to have been with a business from the start, and weathered the storms- YOU’RE RICH!!
But if you worked a business hard and it fizzled out in the infancy stages, all your effort is down the drain.
Most network marketers are looking to get rich quick, not realizing it take some time and work to get the ball rolling. Like any business, you have to get the business off the ground.
The poster child for network marketing has been Amway; the corporation was sued in the late 70’s and was accused of being a pyramid, and an illegal business. That is where the term “Pyramid scheme” comes from. The courts found it to be a legal business but found them guilty of price fixing. So they made some adjustment, and are still in business today. They truly have paved the way for the entire industry.
Product & Service driven companies have a hard ball to juggle, they have to price their products or service right. To be affordable to the consumer and also have enough profit to make the multi level marketing work.
These companies also limit their customer base; the business is going to attract like minded individuals. If, for example- your product or service is nutritionals, travel or legal service, you have just eliminated over half the population. So find a company that has an over all appeal.
YES! There are fraudulent networking companies out there. They are in every industry!
See what the FTC Pros and Cons are!
Some over exaggerate, some inflate their prices. Do your home work, and be comfortable with the company and the product or services your are selling. If you don’t believe in it, no one else will either!
WARNING! If you are not willing to put the time and work into YOUR business, then please do not get involved! Please realize it takes some time to build anything worth while, so stay in it for the long hall. Follow a proven system, it can work for YOU!
The Pros out weigh the Cons
If you pick the right company; it REALLY can change your life! The industry has been around a while, and like all things gets better with age. With some work & persistence you can grow a very profitable business!
